A womans drinking is harmful for her baby not only during her pregnancy, but in the period of breastfeeding as well. Alcohol is assimilated by a baby with mothers milk. Specific defects in newborns that occur because of their parents drinking are called alcohol syndrome of newborn. Its typical signs are mental handicap, developmental delay and other complications.

So if you neglect your health, take care at least about your children. They should not be punished for your sins.
