There are hundreds of reasons for divorce, but sexologists consider that the main reason for break ups is sexual incompatibility that leads to sexual disharmony and dissatisfaction. Why does it happen?

Partners have different attitude towards sex

Your attitude towards sex depends on many factors the main being upbringing and religion. If a girl was taught that sex is something dirty and shameful, than she is very unlikely to feel free and to be open to anything new. According to the statistics about 20 percent of women refuse oral sex and consider it to be very dirty. Is it worth mentioning that men have quite the contrary opinion on this matter?

In this situation both partners feel unhappy and sooner or later such a couple starts to experience problems that, if unsolved, lead to cheating or break up.

Physiological incompatibility

According to some data, sexual incompatibility is the reason for 40 percent divorces. Alfred Kinsey considered that this figure should be even bigger – about 75 of cases.

Discrepancy in sex drive

It is hard to expect sexual harmony if the husband wants sex 5 times a week, while the wife thinks that one time is enough, and vice versa.

Such situation does not mean that one of the partners has sexual arousal disorders. Simply, they have different sex drive.

Sometimes one of the partners refuses sex because of some psychological problems, such as being ashamed of some defects of own body.

Such problems are usually faced by those couples who didn't date for a long time before marriage. Even if they had sex, they could not make sure they suit each other, as sex used to be rare and long-awaited for both of them.

Couples who face sexual incompatibility should experiment with positions. There are so many positions and anyone can choose one that will suit him most!
If a woman has too narrow vagina than doggy style is the best position for her.

If a man has too big penis than you should not have sex in missionary position or woman-on-top position. Try some other positions or use some special "donuts" that doesn't allow the penis to penetrate too deep. Also vagina might be narrow because of dryness. This problem can be solved very easy by using a lubricant.

If the reason for incompatibility is a psychological one, than the spouses can solve their problems with help of a psychotherapist.

Discuss the problem with your partner. Do you know what say those who refuse oral sex? Thy think that genitals are dirty and they look awful. The latter is not true: men like how female genitals look. If you worry about hygiene, than go to the bathroom together with husband, thus you will make sure that you both are clean and will enhance your pleasure.

Sexual incompatibility is not the reason for divorce, but it should be dealt with as sexual dissatisfaction can be dealt with as it might result in neurosis or depression, or in prostatitis or erectile dysfunction in men.
